Silver Pride Project is a group that supports and addresses the specific needs of LGBT seniors. This organization was started in order to provide safe spaces for seniors and allies of our community to meet and socialize, as well as educate others about the unique needs we have. Social isolation can be as bad for your health as hypertension or diabetes. This group, a first of its kind in this area, seeks to support the unique needs and experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender seniors as they age. They have activities four days a week as well as activities in the evenings and weekends.

Born Sports League also supports the following communities:

  • The Oak Lawn Community
  • Local Dallas Schools via our Back to School Drives hosted throughout each year
  • Our Players via our Player Scholarship Fund, which helps members experiencing financial hardship to participate in our sports leagues
